NWSL Draft
Every year, between 30-50 female soccer players make the leap from college soccer to the NWSL.
Fans
While the NWSL had an average attendance of about 8,000 fans per game in 2019, the Austrian Bundesliga had around 6,300 all games on a weekend in the same season.
NATIONALTEAM
Nearly 90%, or 18 out of the 23 players on the U.S. Women's National Soccer Team, were actively involved in college soccer before joining the national team.
I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly I was integrated into the team. My teammates have been very supportive from day one.

From mid-December to mid-January, there are Christmas holidays. This provides the opportunity to come home and spend cozy days with family and friends.
The spring semester starts in mid-January and is referred to as the off-season in college football. The entire spring essentially serves as preparation for the fall season.
Summer break at most universities typically starts in early May and lasts until early August. So, you have three months off and plenty of time for a visit back home.
