Mission
With the founding of Students Go West, we wanted to offer athletes from Austria the opportunity to combine sports and studies without having to compromise in either area.
Fabio Rumpler went through the academy of Admira Wacker Mödling and had the opportunity to showcase his skills with the Admira Juniors in men's football for two years. After declining a professional contract, Fabio transferred to Middle Georgia State University in Macon, Georgia, and subsequently, after a personally successful year, to Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.

Nina went through various youth national teams of Slovenia and transferred to the College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York. She was named in the All-American team of US College Soccer multiple times. Her performances earned her a spot in the NWSL Draft. Due to COVID-19, she decided not to stay in the USA (Utah Royals) in the winter of 2019/2020 and moved to the Austrian Bundesliga with SK Sturm Graz, also making it to the Slovenian national team.
